Mr. Yumoto works closely with International Access Corporation on environmental and renewable energy issues through his organization, EEII. He brings 22 years of experience inside of the Japanese Government as an urban engineer with various MITI offices. He has a broad professional network in Japan’s power industry, as well as specific experience in Japan’s public utility and environmental protection sectors. He has served as Director of the Pollution Protection Guidance Office, the Strategic Commodities Export Inspection Office and the Biochemical Industry Office at MITI. Through his own consultancy (YN International) as well as his current position at EEII, he serves clients in the Japanese regulatory sector and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Urban Engineering from Tokyo University. Mr. Yumoto is fluent in Japanese and English.
