Marcus Bowman joined IAC as a Research Project Manager. He has managed transportation projects related to ITS, road safety, Highway Trust Fund finance. The work involved travel for presentations in Tokyo, Japan as well as Beijing, China. At IAC, Marcus also contributed on energy and environmental projects related to climate change, biofuels, renewable energy, and nanotechnologies. He was promoted to Director of Research before working as a consultant on transportation issues. He holds a Master’s of Public Policy (MPP) graduate degree from George Mason University, where he concentrated in transportation. Mr. Bowman has a quantitative background which includes research in the financial industry. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance, and a minor in Economics, from Iowa State University. He is a co-founder of the Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) group that connects today's business leaders with the next generation.
