Salary:
IAC pays once a month on the 15th, for the entire month. (You are paid for work up to the 15th and you are also paid in advance for the next two weeks.) You may also enroll in our Direct Deposit program that automatically deposits your paycheck in your account.
Health/Dental/Life Insurance:
IAC pays the full monthly premium for a health/dental plan with no contribution from your paycheck. You are responsible for co-payments at the time of service and you are independently responsible for dependents. Prescription drugs, vision benefits and a small life insurance policy are included.
401 (k) Plan:
You are eligible to join our 401(k) plan after the first three months of employment. It is administered through Manulife Financial, one of the largest plan administrators in the U.S., and it includes abundant, self-directed investment options.
Profitsharing Plan:
Each year that IAC has a profit (we have had a profit every year) we contribute an additional 3% of your annual compensation to our Profitsharing Plan, administered through Fidelity Investments. It is structured under IRS rules for retirement plans (similar to an IRA) and is intended to retain top performers, so it is vested over 5 years.
Vacation:
You will have 2 weeks paid vacation for the first 5 years and 3 weeks after that. Vacation accrues monthly from your start date. You also have 6 personal leave days. In addition, you bed able to take your birthday as an additional paid holiday.
Holidays:
We celebrate 12 standard U.S. holidays. We also have a very flexible, reduced schedule during the 3-4 days between Christmas and New Yearsf which will vary according to the yearly calendar.
Metrochex:
You may purchase up to $100 of Metro tickets from us. The amount is deducted from your paycheck before any taxes are calculated and withheld, which allows you to save several hundred dollars on taxes if you take advantage of the full allowable amount.
Bank at Work:
Through our business banking relationship with Citibank, they offer our employees the opportunity to participate in their Bank at Work program. This special program provides no-fee checking accounts, special discounts on home loans and other related banking advantages when accounts are opened through any Citibank branch.
Social benefits:
IACfs owner is generous about sponsoring occasional Friday night ghappy hoursh in his office, occasional pizza lunches, Christmas and summer activities. (Past activities have included formal occasions at his country club, deep-water fishing, white-water rafting, horseback riding, bowling, baseball trips to Baltimore, barbecues, etc.)
