Dr. Filippone is a diplomate of the Istitutu Tecnico Industriale
Marcone of Verona, Italy and received his Masters and Doctors degrees
in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Maryland. He has taught
courses at the University of Maryland and has extensive experience
in consulting. Dr. Filipponne is currently Director of the Center
for Advanced Energy Concepts in the Department of Aerospace Engineering
at University of Maryland. His prior work experience involved teaching,
research, design, and management functions in the nuclear engineering
field, which has contributed to Dr. Filippone's numerous successful
patent applications and technical papers.
