IAC's Japanese translation of "The Skeptic's Handbook"
The Skeptic’s Handbook was compiled by Joanne Nova, a science communications professional from Perth, Australia. It is a compilation of scientific data drawn from numerous sources, meant to summarize and communicate the anti-global warming case in a simple, coherent format. IAC has translated the most recent version of the Handbook into Japanese, and, since its publication, The Skeptic’s Handbook has also been translated into German, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, Spanish, Turkish and Italian. It was influential in the recent Australian legislative debate and defeat of specific climate-change legislation by that body. As new and relevant science on the subject emerges, the handbook is updated on the joannenova web site.

1991-2009: IAC CELEBRATES 18 YEARS OF SERVICE

In August, 2009, IAC happily celebrated ................................. its 18th year of business. It was in August, 1991 that its founder, Tomohiro Yuki, incorporated International Access Corporation in the District of Columbia. With just 3 employees, a small office across from the World Bank and a vision for the future, the company grew steadily. In October 1994, the Tokyo office was opened and IAC Washington moved to larger quarters in the heart of D.C.’s business triangle.

Today, the company employs 23 staff members in both the U.S. and Japan and has completed hundreds of top-level projects and programs. The impressive network of valuable clients and distinguished consultants has continued to grow and to exceed expectations. As new opportunities emerge, we’ve added business support services to our research and consulting menu, so that we can accommodate special requests such as leased employee staffing for representative offices. Our IT department serves a large portfolio of both Japanese and non-Japanese clients who require 24/7 computer services.
